Warning signal number 1 at the river port.The meteorological office has asked the inland river ports to display warning signal number 1.
The weather forecast for the country’s inland river ports has been announced till 6:00 pm on Saturday (September 26).
The river port forecasts south / south over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet. Temporary gusts or gusts of wind with rain or thunderstorms at speeds of 45 to 60 kmph from the east may occur. Therefore, river ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
