One person was arrested in Faridganj along with 300 pieces of yaba. Police have arrested a drug dealer along with 300 yaba in Faridganj of Chandpur.
On Friday night, SI Mohammad Nurul Islam and ASI Sikder Hasibur Rahman along with allied forces conducted an operation in the Hamchapur area of Gupti East Union of the Upazila and arrested drug dealer Mohammad Nasir Hossain (22) with 300 pieces of yaba.
Drug dealer Nasir Hossain is the son of the late Babul Bepari of the union.
In this regard, Faridganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Shahid Hossain said that after arresting the drug dealer along with Yaba, a case has been filed under the Narcotics Act and sent to the court.
