Last 24 hours 20 people died in the country: 1873 newly identified.Epidemic coronavirus (Covid-19) has killed the lives of 20 more people in the last 24 hours. As a result, a total of 452 people have died from the virus. At the same time, another 1,873 people have been identified as infected with corona. This is the highest identification record in a single day. The total number of infected people in Corona increased to 32,078.
This information was given in the regular health bulletin on coronavirus of the health department on Saturday 23rd May. The bulletin was presented by the Additional Director General of the Department (in charge of the Director General) Professor Nasima Sultana.
She said another 9,977 samples were collected in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus. A total of 10,834 samples were tested. A total of two lakh and 34 thousand 675 samples were tested in the country. Corona has been identified in the bodies of another 1,873 people in the new sample test. A total of 32,078 people have been affected in the country. Another 20 people died among the victims. As a result, the death toll stood at 452 people. Another 296 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. The number of recovering patients stood at 6,486.
Of those newly died, 16 were men and four were women. Four from Dhaka division, eight from Chittagong division, two each from Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions and one each from Sylhet and Khulna divisions. Fifteen people died at the hospital, four at home and one died on the way to the hospital. There are two in the age group of 21 to 30 years, three in above thirties, three in over forties, eight in over fifties, three in over sixties and one in over seventies.
According to Saturday’s bulletin, the recovery rate in the country is 20.22 percent and the death rate is 1.41 percent.
