In Chandpur district, 7 more corona have been identified. Among them 4 are from Chandpur city, 1 from Kachua, 1 from Faridganj and 1 from Hajiganj. With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 118 people. The death toll is 11.Total 21 people have recovered.
This information has been given by the sources of Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office on Saturday 23rd May. According to the information received, among the newly identified are: 4 from Chandpur Sadar Upazila , 1 from Faridganj, 1 from Hajiganj, 1 from Kachua.
According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, out of 118 corona patients in the district, 66 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila. The number of patients in Chandpur municipal area alone is 60. Which is more than half of the total patients in the entire district. The death toll in Sadar upazila is 4 so far.
At present, there are 118 people affected by corona in Chandpur district: 66 in Chandpur Sadar, 15 in Faridganj, 6 in Matlab North, 7 in Hajiganj, 6 in Matlab South, 8 in Kachua, 8 in Shahrashti and 2 in Haimchar.
Meanwhile, the number of patients admitted in isolation in Chandpur district till Friday is 62. Of these, 54 have already received clearance. At present there are 8 patients in isolation. The total number of people in the home quarantine in the district is 3663. Of these, 3618 people got clearance. There are currently 45 people in the home quarantine.
