3 deaths in one day in Chandpur, 45 identified. Three more people died while undergoing treatment at the Corona Isolation Ward of Chandpur Government General (Sadar) Hospital. The deaths occurred at 1 pm, 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm on Saturday. All three were infected with corona. With this, the number of deaths in Corona district increased to 114 people.
According to Sadar Hospital sources, Firoza Begum (75) of Bishnudi area of Chandpur town was admitted to Sadar Hospital on the morning of April 19 in a critical condition. He died at the hospital’s isolation ward around 1pm on Saturday (April 24). He was afflicted with corona. On the same day, Arshad Bepari (6) of Ichli area of Chandpur Sadar Upazila died at Sadar Hospital at 3:30 pm. He was admitted to Sadar Hospital on Friday afternoon.
On the other hand, a young man named Deepak (33) died at 5:30 pm on Saturday. His house is in Sakdi Rampur area of Chandpur Sadar. On the same day, at 11:30 pm, he was admitted to the Corona Isolation Ward of Sadar Hospital with corona symptoms. His samples were collected after death. At night the report is not positive.

Meanwhile, 45 more corona were identified in Chandpur on Saturday. Among them 29 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 1 from Shahrashti, 9 from Hajiganj, 3 from Faridganj, 2 from Kachua and 1 from Haimchar.
On the same day, 52 people were declared healthy. Among them 25 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 1 from Haimchar, 2 from Kachua, 6 from Faridganj, 12 from Hajiganj, 4 from Shahrasti and 2 from Matlab South.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 4068 with new cases. The death toll has risen to 113. 3368 people have recovered. At present 587 people are undergoing treatment.
