Two killed in isolation ward in Chandpur, 30 identified. Two more people died while undergoing treatment at the Corona Isolation Ward of Chandpur Government General (Sadar) Hospital.
The deaths occurred at noon on Tuesday, April 27. Despite having corona symptoms, their corona test report was negative, hospital sources said.
According to sources, Rozina (32) of South Dighaldi area of Matlab south Upazila came to Sadar Hospital around 10 pm on Monday with corona symptoms. She was admitted to the isolation ward with corona symptoms. She died at around 12:30 pm on Tuesday while undergoing treatment there. Her corona test report came negative at night.
On the other hand, Kamala Rani (75) of Rupsha area of Faridganj upazila was admitted to Chandpur Sadar Hospital on the night of April 24 with corona symptoms. She died at 2:20 pm on Tuesday while undergoing treatment there. Her corona test report is also negative.

The corona of 30 more people was identified in Chandpur on Tuesday. Among them 11 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 9 from Shahrasti, 5 from Haimchar, 2 from Faridganj, 2 from Kachua and 1 from Matlab South. On the same day, 40 people were declared healthy. Among them 20 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 2 from Kachua, 2 from Matlab South, 3 from Faridganj, 6 from Hajiganj, 4 from Haimchar and 3 from Shahrasti.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 4,173 with new cases. The death toll is 115. 346 people have recovered. At present 591 people are undergoing treatment. Among the injured, 21 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. The rest are in home isolation.
