Professor Nasima Sultana said samples from 17,837 people were tested in the last 24 hours. Samples were tested in 65 labs. So far 7 lakh and 48 thousand 429 samples have been tested.
She said another 2,053 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 57 thousand and 780 people have recovered.
The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
