In Chandpur, 13 people died due to corona and symptoms. Another 13 people died in the corona isolation ward of Chandpur Government General (Sadar) Hospital. The deaths occurred on Sunday and Monday. One of them was corona positive and the others were suffering from corona symptoms. Sadar Hospital Corona Focal Person Dr. Sujauddaula Rubel provided the information.
According to Sadar Hospital sources, Nur Islam (70) of Shorashak area of Shahrashti Upazila died at 7:50 pm on Sunday while undergoing treatment at Corona Ward of Sadar Hospital. He was infected with corona. He was admitted to the hospital at around 7.45 pm on the same day.
Meanwhile, the deceased have been identified as AH Momin Sardar (65) of Subidpur area of Faridganj upazila, Anwara Begum (50) of Algi area of Haimchar, Jamal Sheikh (95) of Dhanua area of Faridganj and Mohammad Hossain (60) of Tarabunia area of Sakhipur upazila of Shariatpur, Momotaz Begum (60) of haimchar, Rehena (35) of North Ludhua area of Matlab North Upazila, Saleha (52) of Matlab South Upazila, Fulbanu (50) of Dhanua Bazar area of Chandpur Sadar, Jahanara Begum (65) of Mahamaya area of the same upazila, Mizan (45) of Horni Durgapur area of Faridganj, Md. Nasir Uddin (65) of Rajrajeshwar of Chandpur Sadar, A. Latif (65) of Raghunathpur area of the same upazila.
