In Chandpur District 15 People Identified As Corona Infected

Corona of 15 more people including police, health workers of Chandpur district were identified.In Chandpur district, corona of 15 more people including police health workers have been identified. On Tuesday morning, June 16, 10 reports came to the Civil Surgeon’s Office. Of these, 9 are corona positive, 1 negative. Besides, the corona of 6 more people of Matlab ICDDRB Hospital has been identified.

Among the 9 new victims are 1 from Haimchar (police), 3 from Faridganj, 1 from Shahrasti, 2 from Matlab South and 2 from Matlab North. Among them, the deceased Shamsul Haque (62) was among the two identified in Matlab North.

Apart from this, the corona report of 6 more people of ICDRB has been found to be positive. They collect samples locally at their research center and send them to ICDDRB in Dhaka. Their report on Tuesday was reported to be positive. Their names have also been included in the list of victims in the district’s Corona because they are located south of Matlab.

With this, the total number of patients affected by corona in the district stood at 478. The death toll rose to 39 people.

At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 463 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 162 in Chandpur Sadar, 57 in Faridganj, 58 in Hajiganj, 63 in Shahrashti, 50 in Matlab South, 28 in Kachua, 31 in Haimchar and 27 in Matlab North.

Besides, the upazila-wise statistics of 39 deaths in the district are: 11 in Chandpur Sadar, 12 in Hajiganj, 4 in Kachua, 4 in Faridganj, 3 in Shahrasti, 4 in Matlab North and 1 in Matlab South.
