In Chandpur district, 59 more corona positive reports have been received. This information has been given by the District Civil Surgeon’s Office on Wednesday, July 29.
Among them 25 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Haimchar, 4 from Matlab North, 4 from Matlab South, 9 from Faridganj, 7 from Hajiganj and 8 from Shahrasti.
Among the new victims are two who died of symptoms in Chandpur Sadar and Shahrasti. With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 1754 people. The death toll rose to 74.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 1754 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 682 in Chandpur Sadar, 199 in Faridganj, 195 in Matlab South, 172 in Shahrashti, 170 in Hajiganj, 136 in Matlab North, 127 in Haimchar and 73 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 74 deaths in the district are: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 10 in Faridganj, 9 in Matlab North, 6 in Kachua, 7 in Shahrasti, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
