The number of corona cases in Chandpur has increased to 2317.In Chandpur, 1 out of 40 sample tests in 24 hours was reported as corona positive.
The new victim is from Faridganj upazila. On the same day, 4 people were declared free and healthy from Corona. Of these, 2 are from Chandpur Sadar, 1 from Matlab South and 1 from Matlab North.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2317 people. The death toll is 77. 2132 people have recovered. At present 108 people are undergoing treatment.
This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. According to sources, a total of 41 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab of Chandpur on Thursday, October 08. 1 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 40 reports are negative.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2317 people infected by corona in Chandpur district are: 936 in Chandpur Sadar, 261 in Faridganj, 262 in Matlab South, 227 in Shahrasti, 199 in Hajiganj, 195 in Matlab North, 152 in Haimchar and 85 in Kachua.
The upazila-wise statistics of 77 deaths in the district are as follows: 22 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
