In Chandpur the total number of corona infected increased to 2141.The situation in Chandpur is improving. Of the 104 reports received on Wednesday, two were corona positive. They are both from Faridganj. On the same day, 11 people were declared healthy from Corona. Among them 6 are from Chandpur Sadar, 3 from Shahrashti and 2 from Faridganj.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2141 people. The death toll is 76. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to the source, a total of 104 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab of Chandpur-based Bahabi on Wednesday, September 02.
2 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 102 reports are negative.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2141 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 859 in Chandpur Sadar, 247 in Faridganj, 227 in Matlab South, 207 in Shahrasti, 194 in Hajiganj, 187 in Matlab North, 140 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 76 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
Civil Surgeon Dr.Sakhawat Ullah added that the total number of samples collected till Wednesday was 9153.
9061 reports have been received. He added that out of 2141 people affected in the district, 1765 have already recovered. 300 people are under treatment.
So far 868 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 851 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 17. Besides, the total number of people in Home Quarantine in the district is 11,825. Of these, 10,335 people got clearance. At present there are 1490 people in the home quarantine.
