A man named Sultan Pradhania (80) died of Coronavirus. His home is in Karband village of Mahamaya area of Chandpur Sadar upazila. The death toll in the district has risen to 245. At the same time, the death toll in Chandpur Sadar Upazila has risen to 101.
Chandpur Sadar Hospital Corona Focal Person Sujauddaula Rubel said that Sultan Pradhania was admitted to Chandpur Sadar Hospital on February 16 at around 11:45 pm.
He died at the hospital’s Corona ward around 7:30 am on Friday, February 18. He was infected with corona and did not get the corona vaccine.
