Professor Nasima Sultana said samples from 12,423 people were tested in the last 24 hours. So far 9 lakh and 52 thousand 947 samples have been tested.
She said another 4,703 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 98 thousand and 317 people have recovered.
The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
