Many countries are heading in the wrong direction, warns WHO.The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that if the government does not make the right decision to stop the spread of the coronavirus, the epidemic will worsen.

“We see an alarming increase in infections in countries where tested risk mitigation measures have not been adopted or complied with,” he said.

At a briefing in Geneva on Monday (July 13), Tedros said many countries were moving in the wrong direction. This virus is still the number one enemy of humans. But it is not reflected in the actions of many countries and peoples. Due to the mixed comments of the leaders, the people have lost confidence in the steps taken to control the epidemic.

However, Tedros did not name any leaders in the briefing. But many have speculated that he is referring to US President Donald Trump and other leaders who have been widely criticized for controlling the epidemic.
