Corona of 7 more people has been identified in Chandpur. According to sources, a total of 67 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab of Chandpur-based Bahasabir on Thursday (August 20). 7 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 60 reports are not negative.
Among them 4 are from Chandpur Sadar, 1 from Faridganj and 2 from Shahrashti. With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2071 people. The death toll is 76. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
The upazila-wise statistics of 2071 people affected by corona in Chandpur district at present are: 822 in Chandpur Sadar, 242 in Faridganj, 224 in Matlab South, 203 in Shahrasti, 190 in Hajiganj, 177 in Matlab North, 133 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 76 deaths in the district are: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
