Corona of 3 more people identified in Chandpur on Wednesday, 26 August. They are all residents of Chandpur Sadar Upazila. In Chandpur district, including the new victims, the number of victims in Corona exceeded 2100. With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2102 people. The death toll is 76. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
Sources said that a total of 90 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR lab of Chandpur-based linguist on Wednesday. Of these, 43 reports are not positive. The remaining 87 reports are not negative.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2102 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 842 in Chandpur Sadar, 242 in Faridganj, 225 in Matlab South, 203 in Shahrasti, 192 in Hajiganj, 180 in Matlab North, 137 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 76 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
