86 More People Identified As Corona Infected In Chandpur District

In Chandpur district 86 more people identified as corona infected. In Chandpur district, the corona of 86 more people has been identified in two phases.

The information was confirmed by the Chandpur District Civil Surgeon’s Office on Tuesday, July 07. Among them 32 are from Chandpur Sadar, 16 from Shahrashti, 13 from Matlab South, 9 from Hajiganj, 8 from Faridganj, 7 from Haimchar and 1 from Matlab North.

Among the newly identified is Mojibul Haque (60) of Shahrashti who has already succumbed to the symptoms.

With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 1,187 people. The death toll rose to 66.Sources said 147 reports came in two phases on Tuesday. Of these, 86 reports are not positive. The remaining 61 are negative.

At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 1,187 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 471 in Chandpur Sadar, 138 in Matlab South, 129 in Faridganj, 125 in Shahrashti, 114 in Hajiganj, 86 in Haimchar, 74 in Matlab North and 50 in Kachua.

The upazila-wise statistics of 66 deaths in the district are: 19 in Chandpur Sadar, 16 in Hajiganj, 9 in Faridganj, 8 in Matlab North, 5 in Kachua, 5 in Shahrasti, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
