54 more people identified as Corona infected in Chandpur district.
In Chandpur, corona of 54 people has been identified in one day. Among them 22 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 1 from Shahrasti, 2 from Hajiganj, 7 from Faridganj, 8 from Matlab South, 3 from Kachua, 4 from Matlab North, 6 from Haimchar and 1 from Ramganj in Laxmipur. The detection rate is 32.32%.
On the same day, 11 more people were declared corona-free. Among them 1 is from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 4 from Matlab South, 5 from Faridganj and 1 from Kachua.
This information was given by the sources of Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office on Sunday 27 June.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 5383 with new cases. The death toll was 126. 4767 people have recovered. At present 490 people are undergoing treatment.
Among the injured, 12 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. The rest are in home isolation. Sources further said that samples of 16 people from the district were tested on Sunday. According to the report received at night, the corona of 54 people is positive.
