Maximum Of 91 Corona Patients Identified In Chandpur District In One Day

A maximum of 91 corona patients were identified in the district in one day
In Chandpur, a maximum of 91 corona were identified twice in a single day on Wednesday. Of these, 46 are from Chandpur Sadar, 6 from Matlab South, 2 from Haimchar, 7 from Matlab North, 14 from Faridganj, 8 from Hajiganj and 8 from Shahrasti.

Among the newly identified are Ainul (65) of Bakultala area of ​​Chandpur town and Fakhrul Islam (56) of Shahrasti.

With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 1786. The death toll has risen to 74. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. According to sources, the highest number of 242 reports came in two phases on Wednesday (July 29). Of these, 91 reports are not positive. The remaining 151 reports are negative.

The current upazila-based statistics of 1786 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 703 in Chandpur Sadar, 204 in Faridganj, 197 in Matlab South, 172 in Shahrasti, 171 in Hajiganj, 139 in Matlab North, 127 in Haimchar and 73 in Kachu.

The upazila-wise statistics of 74 deaths in the district are: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 10 in Faridganj, 9 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah added that the total number of samples collected till Wednesday was 6631. There were 6497 reports. 134 pending reports. He added that out of 1786 affected people in the district, 1095 have already recovered. 617 people are under treatment.

So far, 589 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 565 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 24. Besides, the total number of people in the home quarantine in the district is 10,405 people. Of these, 7655 people got clearance. At present there are 2750 people in the home quarantine.
