24 more people died of coronavirus in country

In the last 24 hours, 24 more people have died of coronavirus in the country. At the same time, 1,545 people have been identified as infected with corona.

The total number of deaths in Corona in the country is 5,723. And the total number of identified 3 lakh and 93 thousand 131 people.

In the last 24 hours, 14,091 samples were collected in 110 laboratories and 14,886 samples were tested. So far 22 lakh and 6 thousand 411 samples have been tested.

In the last 24 hours, another 1,704 Covid-19 patients have recovered. With this, a total of 3 lakh and 8 thousand 845 people have recovered.

It was further informed that the rate of sample test in the last 24 hours is 10.97 percent. So far, the detection rate is 17.82 percent considering the sample test, the recovery rate is 78.56 percent considering the identified test and the death rate is 1.46 percent considering the identified test.

In the notification, Nasima Sultana said that out of 24 people killed in 24 hours, 19 were men and five were women. Among them there are 17 in Dhaka division, three in Chattogong division, two in Rajshahi division, one each in Khulna and Rangpur divisions. Of these, 23 died at the hospital and one died at home.

The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of the coronavirus.
