Cultural ceremony assigned to the district.On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu, a sum of money has been allocated at the rate of Tk. 50,000 in all the districts and Tk. 25,000 for the upazila.
It was stated in the working plan of 20 programs for the ministry by the National Implementation Committee on the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The ministry said this at the 8th meeting of the Standing Committee on Cultural Affairs Ministry held at Parliament House on Tuesday, January 28. The meeting was chaired by Committee President Semin Hossain Rimi.
The meeting also informed that, from March to June this year, the Ministry has taken initiative to set up a ‘Mujib Mancha’ in all the upazilas, including the implementation of a cultural talent exploration program called ‘Bangabandhu Bangladesh’.
Apart from this, a cultural program is being organized in Suhrawardy Gardens every day from March 7 to 26 to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
