In the last 24 hours, 21 more people have died of coronavirus infection in the country. At the same time, 578 more patients have been identified. Although the number of deaths has increased today as compared to Friday (January 15) yesterday, the number of identities has decreased.

This information was given in the press release of the Department of Health on Saturday (January 16).

So far, corona infection has been detected in 5 lakh 27 thousand 63 people in the country. 7,883 of them died. 4 lakh 61 thousand 758 people have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, another 633 Covid-19 patients have been cured at home and hospital. With this, a total of 4 lakh 71 thousand 756 people have recovered.

The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 8. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of the coronavirus.
