Last 24 hours 226 more died due to corona

In the last 24 hours, the virus has claimed the lives of 226 more people across the country. The death toll from the virus rose to 17,278 people.

At the same time, another 12,236 new patients have been identified as infected with corona. With this, the number of identified patients has increased to 10 lakh 71 thousand 774 people.

Additional Director General of the Department of Health (Administration) Professor Nasima Sultana gave this information through press release Thursday, July 15.

Corona was first identified in Bangladesh on March 8 last year. Ten days later, the Department of Health reported the death of one person in the virus.
