8 People Died Of Corona Symptoms In Chandpur

In 24 hours, a maximum of 8 people died of corona symptoms in Chandpur.A maximum of eight people, including a husband and wife, died in Chandpur on Tuesday (June 09) due to corona symptoms. Five in Hajiganj, two in Sadar and one in Kachua.

The deceased have been identified as Abul Qasim (55) of Toragarh in Hajiganj Municipality, Sagar Kazi (40) of Khatra Bilwai, Hossain Mallik (65) and his wife (55) of Rampur village of the upazila and Sunil Debnath (60) of Rajapur. Besides, Telu Mia (42) of Maishadi village in Chandpur Sadar, Abu Bakkar Talukder (70) of Chhota Sundar and Haji Abdul Hai Munshi (60), chairman of Kachua Gohat Union Parishad.

The dead have been buried according to hygiene rules. At the same time, the health department has collected their samples.

Although four or five people have been killed in Chandpur in the last few days, a maximum of eight people died on Tuesday. So far 31 people have died in Hajiganj district with corona symptoms.

According to the District Civil Surgeon’s Office, the number of corona positive patients is 283. Of these, 23 people died. In addition, 45 people died of corona symptoms. Although samples were collected after their deaths, test reports have not yet been received.

Meanwhile, the district administration has announced a lockdown in the third phase with new rules from Tuesday. It has been said that if someone is infected with corona in the city, the patient’s house and if it is in the village, the house of the infected patient and four more houses in the vicinity will be locked down.
