Chandpur District Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah said that since March 1, 2,171 people have returned to Chandpur from different countries of the world. The District Civil Surgeon said the health and family welfare department, district and upazila administration, police and Ansar VDP and public representatives were working together in this regard.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chandpur (Revenue) Mohammed Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman said those who have been ordered to remain in the home quarantine 30 people have been given special responsibility for monitoring through cell phones. Residents have also been requested to inform them of any physical illness that may have occurred in the meantime.
