In Chandpur, amount of expired loans of bank is Tk. 72 crore

In Chandpur, the amount of expired loan’s of bank is Tk. 72 crore.In the public and private banks of Chandpur, 72 crore and 94 lakh 90 thousand taka has become as overdue loan. Of these, the number of unfinished certificate cases in Chandpur is 920 and the amount demanded by the bank is Tk. 2 crore and 77 lakh 8 thousand.

This information was obtained on 07 September in a report of the District Agricultural Credit Committee provided by the Chandpur Regional Office.

Out of this, the amount of expired loans in Sonali, BRDB, Agrani, Janata, Bangladesh Agriculture, Employment and Rupali Bank is Tk. 72 crore and 50 lakh 77 thousand. The other 24 private banks have 44 lakh and 13 thousand taka.

Besides, the amount of arrears due till July of the financial year 2020-21 is Tk. 408 crore and 97 lakh 85 thousand. The other 24 private banks have 64 crore and 27 lakh 55 thousand taka.
