On Sunday ‘Liberation War Film Festival’ start out

The Liberation War Based Film Festival will start from next Sunday in the capital on the occasion of the Great Victory Day. The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has organized a 7-day-long film festival to inspire the new generation in the spirit of the War of Liberation as well as to inform the true history of the War of Liberation.

Ministry of liberation War Affairs minister, AKM Mozammel Haque will inaugurate a film festival titled ‘Evely Celluloid 71’ in the ‘Shawkat Osman Auditorium’ at ‘Shahbag National Library’ in Dhaka, on Sunday.

Parliamentarian Kazi Shahid Islam Papul will be present as the special guest at the inauguration ceremony.

The convener of the festival and the president of Bangladesh International Film Movement, Dildar Hossain, said this at a press conference at the National Press Club, on Friday.
Shawkat Hasan Mia, chief adviser to SS Communications, planning and managing the event.Senior filmmaker Dewan Nazrul,Senior manager of Evely Abdullah Al Mamun Akash, General manager of US Bangla Airlines Kamrul Islam,Film actress Shanoor,Communications Officer Safiullah Shumon and Member of the festival committee, Emdadul Haque Bhuiyan were present there.

According to the press conference,week-long collaboration with Bangladesh Film Archive.On the release of the full-length film of ‘Ora Egaro Jon’ by chashi Nazrul Islam ,’Arunodoyer Agnishakkhi’ by Subhas Dutta,’Alor Michil’ by Narayan Ghosh Mittra ,’Amar Jonmovhumi’ by Amargir Kumkum,’Aguner Poroshmoni’ by Humayun Ahmed ,’Guerrilla’ by Nasiruddin Yousuff,’Joyjatra’ by Tauquir Ahmed and the documentary ‘Stop Genocide’,’Sei Rater Kotha Bolte Ashechi’ are displayed .

There was a chance to win the Dhaka-Malaysia-Dhaka, Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka and Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka air tickets along with ‘Raffle Draw’ by watching free movies to inspire the interest of ordinary people and the younger generation on the issue of the War of Liberation.
