First 10 people to be vaccinated in Chandpur.In Chandpur, 10 people including the deputy commissioner and civil surgeon will get the first corona vaccine. The program will be inaugurated at 10 am on Sunday, February 07 at the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office.

According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, the first 10 people to be vaccinated are Ferdousi Jahan Lovely, a nurse at the 250-bed Chandpur Government General Hospital, Corona Focal Person at the 250-bed Chandpur Government General Hospital and Sujauddaula Rubel, a resident medical officer.

Civil Surgeon Sakhawat Ullah, Mayor of Chandpur Municipality Zillur Rahman Jewel, Additional Superintendent of Police (Hajiganj Circle) Sohail Mahmud, Principal of Puran Bazar Degree College Ratan Kumar Majumder, General Secretary of Bangladesh Medical Association Mahmudunnabi Masum, Freedom fighter Munir Ahmed and social worker of Chandpur Shahid Ullah.

Civil Surgeon Sakhawat Ullah said 10 people would be vaccinated for the first time in Chandpur.

Chandpur Deputy Commissioner Anjana Khan Majlish said, “I will take this vaccine without any fear to keep myself safe. I see that everyone in Chandpur will be interested in receiving this vaccine.”

The first vaccine will be given by Ratan Kumar Majumder, Principal of Puran Bazar Degree College.

“I was assured of vaccination by the district administration and the civil surgeon’s office. I am not afraid of this. Very happy. I will encourage everyone to get vaccinated.”, he said.
