Five Prominent Insurance Personalities Honored By Prime Minister

Five prominent insurance personalities honored by the Prime Minister.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina honored five prominent insurance personalities on this day’s Insurance day.
They are – Khuda Box, former chairman of General Insurance Corporation, Golam Mawla, Founder Chairman of BGIC, MA Samad, former chairman of Life Insurance Corporation Shamsul Alam and former managing director of Delta Life Insurance Company Shafate Ahmed. All those who received medals are late. In front of them, relatives took the medal out of the Prime Minister’s hand.
National Insurance Day is being celebrated for the first time in the country on Sunday with the motto ‘I swear on insurance day, build better country’. Various programs have been taken to develop the insurance industry and to raise public awareness about insurance.

In the morning, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially inaugurated the Insurance Day at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center. Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal presided over the inauguration of Insurance Day.

Chairman of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA). Shafiqur Rahman Patwari said that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman joined Alfa Insurance Company of Pakistan on March 1,1960. The government has declared National Insurance Day on March 1 at the request of the IDRA on January 15 to commemorate the day of joining Bangabandhu’s insurance sector.
