This information was given in the regular health bulletin on coronavirus of the health department on Tuesday (June 02) at noon. Additional Director General of the Department, Prof. Nasima Sultana presented the bulletin online.

She said samples from 52 laboratories were tested and another 14,905 samples were collected in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus. 12 thousand and 704 were tested. A total of three lakh and 33 thousand 73 samples were tested in the country. Corona was found in the bodies of 2,911 people in the new sample test. As a result, a total of 52,445 people have been infected in the country. Another 37 people died among the victims. As a result, the death toll stood at 709 people. Another 523 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. The number of patients who recovered with this stood at 11,120.

According to a bulletin on Monday (June 01), 22 people have died in the last 24 hours due to corona. Corona was found in 11,439 samples in the bodies of 2,381 more people. As compared to the previous 24 hours, the number of deaths and identities has increased in the last 24 hours – both the number of identities has increased and there has been a record of highest identification. Earlier, the highest identification record was 2,545. This is stated in the bulletin of May 31. The death toll has risen to the second highest in the last 24 hours. Earlier, 40 people had the highest death record in a single day. That was also reported in the May 31 bulletin.

She urged everyone to wash their hands with soap, wear face masks and wear hand gloves to protect themselves from coronavirus as usual.
