ICC chairman himself raised question about Test championship!

The Test Championship started last year with the top teams in the elite format of cricket. The ICC, the governing body of cricket, argued that the longer version of the game would increase the demand for spectators. However, less than a year later, the new ICC chairman said that the value of white ball cricket is declining.

The goal for which the Test Championship was organized has not met with success. That’s why Greg Barclay, the newly elected chairman of the ICC, questioned the rationale for the event.

The Test Championship started last year with the top 9 teams to make white-clad cricket more popular. However, due to Corona, most of the matches could not be played on the field. That’s why next year’s two finalists will be determined as a percentage of the win, not as points.

The chairman of the ICC says that the appeal of white-clad cricket has decreased as a result of this event.
