Rajib Kishore Banik, Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of the Upazila Health Complex, said a sub-inspector (SI) of Matlab South Police Station, a leader of the Upazila Student League (25), a farmer (45) of Khidirpur area of ​​the upazila, a youth (18) of Charmukundi area and Uttar Nalua. One person (45) of the area has been infected with coronavirus.

They have been asked to seek treatment from isolation in their respective homes. The family members were instructed to stay in the home quarantine for 14 days.

According to the Upazila Health Department, the number of Covid-19 patients in the upazila has increased to 125, including 5 new ones. And 50 people have recovered. So far 350 samples have been collected for corona testing.
