Qatar Airways authorities said the plane did not come to Rome from Dhaka. That is why Bengali passengers should be allowed to get off the plane. Qatar Airways is following all rules and regulations of the Italian government and INAC regarding aviation.

One of the Bangladeshi women among the riders felt sick and asked the health workers for help. But Italian authorities said the woman fell ill after a long journey, which was not related to the Covid-19.

Tensions erupted after the pilot announced that not everyone would be able to disembark after the QR131 flight landed at Fumisino Airport. After this announcement, the Bangladeshi passengers started protesting. A woman fell ill.
