In Chandpur district, the highest number of 73 corona infected was identified in one day.The highest number of corona cases of 73 people has been detected in one day after corona infection in Chandpur. Their report came on Friday, June 12. Among the new identities are residents of 8 upazilas of the district.
Chandpur District Civil Surgeon’s Office sources said a total of 274 reports were received on Friday. Its corona is 73 positive. 4 of the infected are dead.
The newly identified upazila statistics are: 20 in Chandpur Sadar (including 2 dead), 17 in Hajiganj (including 2 dead), 5 in Haimchar, 11 in Shahrasti, 5 in Faridganj, 7 in Matlab South, 2 in Matlab North and 5 in Kachua.
With this, till June 12, the total number of people affected by corona in the district stood at 366. The death toll rose to 31. This information has been known from the sources of the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to sources, the current upazila-wise statistics of 366 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 157 in Chandpur Sadar, 49 in Faridganj, 42 in Hajiganj, 34 in Shahrashti, 30 in Matlab South, 23 in Kachua, 16 in Matlab North and 15 in Haimchar.
Besides, the upazila-wise statistics of 25 deaths in the district are: 10 in Chandpur Sadar, 4 in Kachua, 4 in Faridganj, 5 in Hajiganj, 3 in Shahrasti, 2 in Matlab North and 1 in Matlab South.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah said 241 more samples were sent to Dhaka from Chandpur on June 11. The number of samples sent stood at 2727. There are 2122 reports. 605 pending reports.
He added that out of 293 people (not included in today’s number) affected in the district till Thursday, 76 have already recovered. 192 people are under treatment. So far 158 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 124 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 34.
Besides, the total number of persons in Home Quarantine in the district is 4417. Of these, 3651 people got clearance. There are currently 724 people in the home quarantine.
Meanwhile, out of the highest number of 73 people, 7 died of corona symptoms in Chandpur from Thursday night to Friday afternoon. Among them, 3 people were undergoing treatment in isolation
