Corona identified 19 more in Chandpur: Number of infected increased to 255.Corona of 19 more people has been identified in Chandpur. The number of people infected with corona in the district today stands at 255, including 19. The death toll was 19 earlier. The report of Abul Kashem (50) who died with symptoms is positive. At present, 20 people including him have died due to corona in the district.
The media was informed from the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office on Thursday afternoon, June 04, that 116 more reports came in on Thursday morning. Of these, 19 are corona positive. The rest are negative.
Of these, 5 are in Chandpur Sadar, 4 in Hajiganj, 4 in Shahrasti, 3 in Matlab North, 2 in Kachua and 1 in Matlab South.
According to the Chandpur Health Department, the upazila-wise statistics of 255 people affected by corona in the district are: 129 in Chandpur Sadar, 41 in Faridganj, 19 in Hajiganj, 19 in Shahrasti, 16 in Kachua, 13 in Matlab South, 13 in Matlab North and 5 in Haimchar.
Besides, the upazila-wise statistics of 20 deaths in the district are: 6 in Chandpur Sadar, 4 in Kachua, 4 in Faridganj, 3 in Hajiganj, 2 in Matlab North and 1 in Shahrasti.
However, after the identification of 19 new corona today after 17 yesterday, there is no concern about hygiene in vehicles and market places. Most people are not aware yet.
