He added that all but a few people who had died in Chandpur so far had died before being identified. That is, they did not come under treatment due to personal unconsciousness and negligence. There have been very few deaths from treatment so far.
The old woman who died last Saturday was also at home in a critical condition. She was rushed to Sadar Hospital in critical condition. As a result, she also did not come under treatment.
Meanwhile, 9 more corona were identified in Chandpur on Sunday. Among them 6 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 1 from Faridganj, 1 from Matlab South and 1 from Shahrasti. On the same day, 7 people were declared healthy from Corona. Of these, 4 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Matlab North and 1 from Faridganj.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2483 people. The death toll has risen to 79. 2329 people have recovered. At present 75 people are undergoing treatment. This information has been known from the sources of the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to sources, a total of 84 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab of Chandpur on Sunday (November 15). Of these, 9 are corona positive. The remaining 75 reports are not negative. At present the number of patients admitted in isolation is 14.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2483 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 1031 in Chandpur Sadar, 283 in Faridganj, 271 in Matlab South, 236 in Shahrasti, 209 in Hajiganj, 200 in Matlab North, 167 in Haimchar and 86 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 79 deaths in Corona district are as follows: 22 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 12 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 4 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
Dr. Rubel added that a total of 38 samples were tested at Chandpur Sadar Hospital on Sunday. 9 of them are positive. The detection rate is 23.6% compared to the test. The previous day, 71 samples were tested. 12 of them are positive. The detection rate is 16.9% compared to the test.
