India proposes to launch flights to Bangladesh.India has proposed to launch air bubble flights with five countries including Bangladesh. India’s Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri tweeted this information. Travel bubble or air bubble is the operation of flights between the two countries without involving any third country.

India is currently in talks with 13 countries, including Australia, Japan and Singapore, to operate the ailing airline in Corona. The country has previously been home to the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Maldives and the United Arab Emirates since July; Launches such flights with these six countries.

International flights to India have been suspended since March 23 to prevent the spread of the epidemic corona. The country’s aviation minister, Hardeep Singh Puri, said: “We are moving the talks forward and there are plans to launch new flights with 13 more countries.

He said the countries under discussion were Australia, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Nigeria, Bahrain, Israel, Kenya, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand.

Apart from this, if any country wants to operate such bilateral flights, India will consider it, he added. “Our main effort is to repatriate every stranded Indian citizen so that no Indian is left out,” he said.

After two consecutive months of lockdown, domestic flights to India resumed on May 25. The country now has 45 percent more domestic flights than before the Corona outbreak.

The world’s aviation sector, including India, has been hit hard by the travel ban imposed to control the epidemic. Most of the airlines have taken steps like cutting their salaries, reducing their salaries and taking non-paid leave.
