In one day, 88 coronavirus patients were identified in Chandpur. Among them, 72 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 7 from Faridganj, 5 from Hajiganj, 1 from Matlab North, 1 from Haimchar, 1 from Shahrasti, and 1 from Matlab South.
On the same day, 15 people were declared healthy. A total of 238 samples were tested on this day. According to the sample test, the detection rate is 36.97%.
Sources at the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office said the samples were collected throughout the day on Saturday.
At present 15,680 people are infected by corona in the district. The death toll is 241.
So far 15,050 people have been declared healthy. At present, the number of patients undergoing treatment is 389. One of the victims is in the isolation ward of the hospital and the rest are in home isolation.
