Ibrahim Jewel wishes on International Mother Language Day

Kazi Mohammad Ibrahim Jewel wishes on International Mother Language Day.On International Mother Language Day, Kazi Mohammad Ibrahim Jewel, Member Secretary of Chadampur District Volunteer Party, former Assistant Secretary of Volunteer Affairs of District BNP, former Joint Convener of Municipal BNP and former General Secretary of District Chhatra Dal greeted all leaders and workers including BNP and its affiliates.

In a congratulatory message, he said, every year 21st February is a special day for the Bengali nation. International Mother Language Day means commemorating the sacrifice of a group of students marching for the mother tongue on the streets that gave life for the Bengali language. Surprisingly, we are the first nation in the world to have a movement for our own language. We have made our mother tongue independent. The language movement proves that any democratic demand is achieved through the movement.

On this day in 1952, in exchange for the blood of many unnamed young people, we have acquired the right to speak in Bengali. Through this we are able to express our own oral language. There are many unnamed martyrs behind this victory and there are some heroic children of Bengal. One of them is Salam, Rafiq, Jabbar, Barkat and many other unnamed.
