The leave of the educational institution has been extended again. Considering the Corona situation, all the educational institutions of the country will be closed till November 14.
Education Minister Dipu Moni said this at a virtual press conference on Thursday, October 29.
The education minister said, “We have reviewed various things during this period, whether some things can be opened in a limited range or not.” We will review various information within two weeks and try to open a limited range (educational institution) if the situation is favorable. This is mainly for those who have SSC and HSC candidates in mind.
Dipu Moni said, this time the book festival is not being held by gathering at the beginning of the year. The book will be delivered to everyone.
The education minister also said that the rest of the examinations are being considered at the national university.
Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education Mahabub Hossain, Secretary of the Technical and Madrasa Department Aminul Islam Khan, Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) Prof. Syed Golam Farooq and chairmen of various education boards were present.
All educational institutions in the country have been closed since March 17 due to coronavirus.
Holidays are extended several times. The last holiday was extended till October 31.
