There is possibility rain in half of the country today.The Meteorological Department has forecast storms in about half of the country today. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
This information has been given in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday (August 12).
The forecast is for Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Kushtia, Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Cumilla, Noakhali, Chattagram, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet from south or south-east. Temperate storms or gusts of wind with rain or thunderstorms at speeds of 45 to 60 kmph may occur. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
The weather forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy. The weather can be almost dry. The wind can blow from the south or southeast at a speed of 8 to 12 kilometers per hour. Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged. There has been little rain in Dhaka in the last 24 hours.
