Meteorological Department forecast storm in 13 parts of country

The Meteorological Department has forecast storms in 13 parts of the country today.The river ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.

This information has been given in the forecast of the inland river port of the country till 1:00 pm on Sunday (October 04).

According to the forecast, strong winds of 45 to 60 kmph will blow from Sylhet, Mymensingh, Tangail, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar. There may be rain or thunderstorms. River ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.

Besides, the forecast for Dhaka and its adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be temporarily cloudy. There may be rain or thunderstorms. The wind may blow from the south or south-east at a speed of 8 to 12 kmph. Daytime temperatures may drop slightly.
