Model Mosque-Islamic Culture Center is being constructed at Chandpur

According to the aesthetic and sophisticated design of the country, 8 model mosques and Islamic cultural centers are being constructed in 8 upazilas. Chandpur Public Works Department said on Thursday, December 27th.

Of these, the headquarters of the district is being built on public land, Maitlab North, Hajiganj, Kachua and Highchaar on land donated by the local social workers and the rest on acquired land. Expenditure on piercing has been fixed at Tk 11 crore to 13.50 crore.

In the financial year of 2018-19, the model mosque and Islamic cultural center have been given orders for all other than the district headquarters. It is ordered to be completed by December end of the fiscal year 2021-22.

Model mosques and Islamic Culture Center are being constructed on the government side at the south side adjacent to the municipal park. Land matters are unimportant.

According to the information received, the Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center at Chandpur Sadar is being constructed on the ground floor of the 3rd floor, on the west side of the Chandpur-Raipur highway, adjacent to the District Family Planning and District Statistics Office, on the south side of the Chandpur District Election Office.

Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center are being constructed on donated land adjacent to Chongchar municipal meeting on 3rd floor. It was first started in Chandpur. The Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center in the south of Matlab are being constructed on the ground occupied by the name of ‘Navakalas’ on the 3rd floor.

Hajiganj Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center are being constructed on a donated land along West Kazi’s Gao Kachua road on the 3rd floor. Model mosque and Islamic cultural center is being constructed on a 3rd storey building by Nir Meher. The Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center of Faridganj is being constructed on adjoining acquired land adjacent to the school grounds of Upazila Boundary on the 3rd floor.

The Haimhchar Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center are being constructed on a 4-storey wall on the donated land in front of the house of the Highchair Upazila Chairman Noor Hossain Patwary. The Kachua Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center are being constructed on a donated land on the east side of the Kachua Polytechnic Institute on the 3rd floor.

Contextually, this is one of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s special considerations and priority projects. Under the project Construction of 560 Model Mosques and Islamic Cultural Center in every upazila.’Model Mosques and Islamic Cultural Center’ are being constructed in 8 upazilas .

With the financing of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the overall management of the Chandpur Public Works Department and the national design, the process of construction of these three-storey model mosques and Islamic culture centers in the 4-storey and upazila of the district has already begun.
