We didn’t do very well in bowling session. I didn’t start well, I did well in the middle and then Sohan and Mehdi batted well at the end. Our bowlers could not bowl as per our plan.
In the first match, Dhaka captain also identified many problems with the batting of the team. I, Akbar, Tamim, Naeem were all set, but I could not finish.
The beginning has to be big. If one of the team could score 60-70 runs, the match would be in our hands. Rajshahi bowled well towards the end.
Akbar’s wicket was important. The credit goes to Muktar who batted very well the rest of the time except the last over.
Hopefully we can learn from this match. That is the beauty of the game. You have to learn from your mistakes and come back better in the next match.’
