One more people died due to corona symptoms at matlab north.A 55-year-old man named Zakir Hossain has died in Chandpur’s Matlab North Upazila with corona symptoms. He is the son of A. Aziz Khan of Mohammad village in Mohanpur union. He died on the way to the Upazila Health Complex on Friday night.
The matter has been confirmed by Medical Technologist (MTEPI) Bahan Chandra Kirtaniya, the only corona sample collector in the upazila.
It is learned that this person from Mohammadpur village of Mohanpur union of Matlab Uttar upazila is a cloth merchant in Mohanpur market. He has been suffering from fever, cold, cough, shortness of breath and sore throat since June 12. Earlier on June 14, Matlab was supposed to collect his samples for corona test at Uttar Upazila Health Complex. But he did not come to give samples. He took treatment at home without samples and stayed at home.
When his condition deteriorated on Friday night, June 19, he was taken to Matlab Uttar Upazila Health Complex. He died on the way.
The Upazila Health Department has collected samples from the bodies. On Friday night, Medical Technologist (MTEPI), the only sample collector at the Upazila Health Complex, Bahan Chandra Kirtaniya collected samples of the deceased. It will be sent to Dhaka for examination tomorrow.
Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Nusrat Jahan Methen said samples were collected from the body of a person who died with corona symptoms. 4 houses in and around them have been instructed to lock down.
