President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid homage to language martyrs at the first watch
President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to the martyrs of the language martyrs on February 21. They paid homage at the Central Shaheed Minar at 12 am on the first watch of Ekushey.
After paying tribute to the President, the Prime Minister, Shaheed Minar was opened to all.
People from all walks of life, including leaders of various political parties, social and cultural organizations, went to pay their respects at the Shaheed Minar.
Speaking with respect to the martyrs of the language, the President said. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The President said, “The recognition of mother tongue is achieved through the bloody path of February. This is the continuation of the ever-increasing independence of Bengal, led by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the best Bengali nation of all time.
The Prime Minister said, “The tune of that great Ekushey February bloodthirsty glory transcends the borders of Bangladesh today and resonates with the lives of people across the globe”.
