In Chandpur district, 7 more corona have been identified. This information has been given by the Civil Surgeon’s Office on Wednesday, July 08. Sources said that 53 reports came today. Of these, 7 reports are not positive. The remaining 46 are negative.
Among them 1 is from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Hajiganj, 1 from Kachua and 3 from Shahrasti. With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district has increased to 1,194 people. The death toll is 66.
At present, the upazila-based statistics of 1,194 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 472 in Chandpur Sadar, 138 in Matlab South, 129 in Faridganj, 128 in Shahrasti, 116 in Hajiganj, 86 in Haimchar, 51 in Kachu and 74 in Matlab North.
The upazila-wise statistics of 66 deaths in the district are: 19 in Chandpur Sadar, 16 in Hajiganj, 9 in Faridganj, 8 in Matlab North, 5 in Kachua, 5 in Shahrasti, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah further said that a total of 5,168 samples have been sent from Chandpur till Wednesday. There were 5,003 reports. 165 reports awaiting. He added that out of 1,194 people affected in the district, 658 have already recovered. 470 people are under treatment.
So far, 423 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 375 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 48. Besides, the total number of people in the home quarantine in the district is 8037. Of these 5,903 people got clearance. At present there are 2,134 people in home quarantine.
