PM distributes 24 lacs blankets.During the intensity of winter 24,69,100 blankets were distributed among the people from the Prime Minister’s relief store across the country.31,90,900 blankets were distributed by the government.
7,21,800 blankets were distributed by ministry of disaster management and relief.Apart from this 1 crore 68 lacs taka has been allotted in 16 districts including Rangpur, Kurigram and Gaibandha.
State Minister Md. Enamur Rahman made this information in the conference room of the Ministry of Relief at the Secretariat on Thursday January 2.
Secretary of the Ministry Mohammad Shah Kamal and Director of the Meteorological Department Shamsuddin Ahmed were also present during the meeting.PM distributes more than 24 lacs blankets from the relief store.
