Possibility Of 45-60 Kmph Storm-Rain Over 19 Regions Of Country

There is a possibility of 45-60 kmph storm-rain over 19 regions of the country. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

This information was given by the Meteorological Department in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday (August 28).

Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet. Temperate gusts / winds with rain / thunderstorms at speeds of 45-60 kmph can occur. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Dhaka has received 11 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. According to the forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 8 am to 1 pm on Friday, the sky may be partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy. There may be light rain / thunderstorms. The wind may blow from south-east / south at a speed of 8-15 kmph. Daytime temperatures can remain almost unchanged.
